King’s Regrets | 2021

You might have felt fine, at least for a moment, but you knew those walls would fall again, as they had in the past, and the regrets would pour in to swallow you whole. To maintain some control over your kingdom, you needed to find, once again, new ways to distance yourself from the demons in your head. I saw how exhausted you were; no wonder you were slowly running out of ideas on how to keep the game going.

You were sure that the feeling would be so intense and profound that it would change you on a subatomic level. You thought it would have made your heart radiate golden rays until the end of time.
