The crown on his head burns like a red-hot fire. This crown should belong to someone else, a different king perhaps. This is the burden of ruling the wrong kingdom.
Sometimes, late at night, he can see the essence of him, the purest of gold, as it shimmers faintly in the darkness. And even if it’s pushed to the edges, it will never disappear completely.
