Rex Non Architectus | 2020

transformation and acceptance

This is how I reconcile with the past, the choices I have made, and the ambitions I once thought were essential for happiness. I aspired to be an architect for all the wrong reasons...

To create this four-legged creature, I’ve torn pages from ‘The New Science of Strong Materials: Or Why You Don't Fall Through the Floor’, a book considered essential reading during my time on architecture course.

This seems to be the most fitting application for it.

Acrylic, mixed media, torn pages from ‘The New Science of Strong Materials: Or Why You Don't Fall Through the Floor’ by J E Gordon
